Welcome, Autumn

"And all at once, summer collapsed into fall." -Oscar Wilde
Happy Autumn, and what a beautiful arrival it's been! We've had some of the most beautiful, sunny skies and the touch of crispness in the air as the perfect start to the season. And I think this is exactly the shift I've been waiting for. We've definitely lived up the warm, late summer nights with fishing and walks and late night barn chores and then sports started with late dinners and lots of running to and from and then it seems like out of nowhere- Autumn. The nights come sooner and leave us inside earlier with a chance to catch our breath! And trust me, we've needed it more than I knew. August always hits me like a ton of bricks but this one felt almost dark. So much so that I found myself rethinking everything from the farm to the business with too much negativity. But then, after a lot of prayer and reflection, I feel a big shift. More contentment. Some peace. And I honestly think this all came at perfect time. A new season and a new mindset. So we're ready to plan and dive ahead into all things pumpkin and apple with new life. We hope you'll enjoy this season with us, too!
The scoop case is certainly ready this week:
- Pumpkin
- Vanilla peanut butter swirl
- Raspberry Swirl
- Chocolate Brownie
- Vanilla Bean Creme Anglaise
- Turtle
- Caramel Apple Crisp

Links + finds from the week:
- It's time to break out the fall foliage map!
- Making these cookies this weekend: can you blame me?
- Adding Gorge Trail to our bucket list asap.
- Speaking of early nights: the Ultimate Fall Movie List.
- Did you catch the Varsity Boys Golf Interview? It was a good one.
- I'm kind of a last-minute project planner and on a whim, started a room refresh with a chalky blue paint and this fun, warm textured wallpaper! I'll share details soon!
