Welcome, Autumn.
"Technology gets better every day. That's fine. But most the the time all you need is a stick of gum, a pocket knife or a smile."

Happy Friday, friends!
Fall has officially arrived (as of Monday!) and you can feel it everywhere here in Western PA. The leaves are just starting to turn, mornings are crisp, and apples are dropping from the trees—it’s the best kind of autumn magic.
We’re so excited to be partnering once again with Keller’s Greenhouse to bring you locally picked apples right here at the Scoop Shoppe! This weekend you can grab some delicious Honeycrisp apples to take home—nothing says fall quite like that first bite into a crisp, sweet apple.
If you’re out and about, it’s shaping up to be a perfect Friday night football evening—the Rover Football team is home again, and the forecast couldn’t be better. If you haven’t yet taken a stroll along the walkway at Toby Creek in Brockway, it’s just a short walk from the Scoop Shoppe. Tonight would be the perfect time: you’ll catch the beauty of a fall evening and maybe even hear the energy of Friday night lights in the distance.
And of course—we’ve got gelato flavors that taste like fall:
🍂 Pumpkin Roll Gelato – Creamy cream cheese gelato swirled with house-made pumpkin cake pieces. Just like the classic dessert, but scoopable!
🍏 Caramel Apple Gelato – Bright, fresh apple gelato made with real puréed apples, finished with a salty caramel swirl. Tastes just like your favorite caramel apple on a stick.
🍫 Chocolate Peanut Butter Gelato – A classic combo that never disappoints: creamy peanut butter gelato with rich Dutched cocoa powder.
🌰 Butter Pecan – Rich, nutty, and buttery!
☕ Espresso Chip – Coffee lovers, this one’s for you.
🍪 The Brookie (back by popular demand!) – Brownies + chocolate chip cookie dough folded into brown sugar vanilla gelato. Decadent and unforgettable. Our late summer hours are still in place:
Thursday: 2–9pm
Friday: 2–9pm
Saturday: 12–9pm
Sunday: 2–9pm
Monday: 2–9pm
We can’t wait to see you this weekend on Main Street in Brockway. Bring a friend, grab some apples, and enjoy a scoop (or two) of fall!
Some links + finds from the week:
- It hasn't been quite cold enough to watch evening movies around here, but we're saving this list for the upcoming cooler nights!
- One of our favorite Halloween books, read each year on repeat by even our youngest reader!
- This one pot chicken, broccoli and rice dinner was a hit!
- Emily Lex has new, beautiful watercolor journals for fall and they're available at The Scoop Shoppe!
- On our weekend goal list: check out the new brewery in Brookville (it just opened last weekend!) and get some fresh pressed cider and pick a few apples at this orchard!
Have the best weekend!
xx,
Lisa
