Happy (unofficial) Start of Summer!

I love the mid jump-in-the-river moment I caught last year while renting our favorite River House in Cook Forest: it's the perfect "summer's here" moment, right? The weather isn't quite the same today but nonetheless, our kids are celebrating the start of their summer break with so much excitement. It's an early last day of school, but the kids can't wait to start their summer bucket list and get into all things warm and sunny. When do your kids let out for summer break?

As the celebrating is starting (despite rainy, cold temps here in PA), the gelato case is ready for the party! We added so many fun summer flavors and lots of your favorites to bring home the excitement. And our new summer hours are also ready for the big day: we're open until TEN AT NIGHT! I know, I think it sounds so late, but thankfully, our Scoop Shoppe team has been up for the request of all you night owls and agreed to stay open for late night gelato treats! So starting this weekend, our new summer hours are here:

Join us for daytime or nighttime gelato, with this week's awesome flavors:

• Cosmic Brownie - Chocolate gelato with house-made brownie pieces and naturally dyed sprinkles

• Peanut Butter Butterfinger - Peanut butter gelato with crushed Butterfinger candy

• Blueberry Cheesecake - Cream cheese gelato with fresh blueberry compote and graham cracker crumble

• Blueberry + Cream - Cream cheese gelato with fresh blueberry compote

• Coffee Toffee - A coffee soaked gelato with toffee bits

• Cookie Butter - Biscoff cookie spread and Biscoff cookie pieces

• Chocolate Covered Banana - Banana gelato made with real bananas and chocolate flakes

• Creme Anglaise - Classic vanilla bean

Our friend David suggested chocolate covered banana/cosmic brownie combo! 🤤 Which combo will you create?

We can't wait to celebrate the unofficial start of summer with you all on Main Street in Brockway!

  • Had a chance to stop by the Scoop Shoppe last Saturday while I was in town for a visit. The shop looks great and the peanut butter cookie dough flavor was fantastic. I bought two pints to take back home to Ohio with me and we are enjoying them. Makes my heart so happy to see your business adding charm to Main Street. God Bless you guy and wishing you continued success!
