It's officially spring.  I found this quote above and couldn't relate more. After a long, cold winter, it feels so good to have the warmth, daylight and hope that comes with spring to start working toward more. I've hinted here a few times about a big project in the works with our farm, and this past week and next our heads are down in hopes of bringing it to life in April! Thank God for the spring, because we needed this change in pace to get things done.

I have a handful of new spring gelato flavors I'm excited to try, but this week was all about an all-time favorite remake: tiramisu.  We've had so many requests to bring back this flavor (it's been over a year!) so we're making it happen. Our tiramisu gelato uses classic flavors like real mascarpone cheese, espresso soaked cookies, and marsala wine to bring so much complexity to a pint of gelato. It's one of my most favorite flavors to date, and I know you'll love it!

Lately, we're so excited to have almost complete sell-outs of our gelato pints, so I'm making an extra large batch of tiramisu in hopes it will be around for a few weeks. This has been the best year for our gelato, and we're just so humbled and grateful that you all show up for each and every flavor. We've had such an influx of new customers through our friend's bakery, Susquehanna Small Batch, so we'll keep you stocked there, too.  You guys are making our job so fun and exciting, which is why we're working toward the above mentioned secret project...
