Happy Friday 5/9/25

"Flowers don't worry about how they're going to bloom. They just open up and turn toward the light and that makes them beautiful."

Happy Friday! It's been another WEEK around here, but I think we're finally catching our breath after the opening of our Scoop Shoppe. Jesse and I have been overwhelmed by your support, your kind words and your trips to our little shoppe on Main Street. We are so, so thankful for all of you. Words are scarce yet as we soak in your support, but know we are forever grateful!

This week, we opened the Scoop Shoppe to host Jesse's family and it was such a great night. We shared our space with the people who watched him grow up on his parent's dairy farm and supported a little farm boy through this life into a business-owning dairy farmer. We talked about how different this looks than what they imagined for Jesse, yet how much better it is!  They've watched and cheered us on from the original idea and one cow until now. And they've not given up on us. Family really is the very best.

Let's talk about THIS weekend at the Scoop Shoppe! We're open Friday- Sunday, 2pm-8pm each day (including Mother's Day) and we've got some awesome flavors for everyone. First up: banana peanut butter! A real banana gelato with a generous swirl of crunchy peanut butter makes for an Elvis-approved gelato I think you'll love. And we upped the chocolate this week with a dark chocolate gelato sure to cure any chocolate craving. It's rich, dark chocolate gelato with a semi-sweet chocolate stracciatella for an extra chocolate finish. As a chocolate lover myself, I'm really proud of this one! And we're bringing back lemon blueberry in the best ways: a gluten free lemon cheesecake gelato with a blueberry lavendar (just a hint) compote and a return of our super popular lemon blueberry pound cake! Scratch made lemon cake is swirled into a cream cheese/lemon base with a blueberry lavendar compote for a fruity flavor you'll love. We finish the list with classic creme anglaise (vanillla bean) and sea salt caramel for those of us who like to keep things simple! I think there's a flavor for everyone this weekend, and we can't wait to scoop you some of our farmstead gelato in our homemade waffle cones! Stop by Friday, Saturday or Sunday 2pm-8pm!

Have the best weekend and Happy Mother's Day, friends!
