Happy Friday! August is moving quickly as we're squeezing in every warm, sunny moment (not too happy with the rain already today) and every cast of the fishing pole, bike ride, morning walk and firefly caught as best we can to hold onto the last few weeks of summer break. The kids have eaten their weight in popsicles and we've spent countless hours at the Scoop Shoppe so I think we're on the right track for a summer to remember. What about you guys? Are you reading for the new school year or holding onto plans for the last bit of summer?
At the Scoop Shoppe, we've been busy making some fun new additions to the freezer cabinet! We've talked about ice cream tacos since we shaped our first waffle cone, but this was the week we brought it to life! And let me tell you, this has been a labor of love my friends. From shaping the taco to finding just the right about of flavor and gelato to fill it and the perfect consistency of fudge/chocolate coating and toppings: we hope you guys love these as much as we have. It's so fun to bring a new product to the shoppe, but also, bring so, so much anxious excitement. "Will they like it?" Will they understand the pricepoint? Are they too big? Too small? Do I have the flavor combinations right?" It's really a true labor of love. But I'm really so glad to bring these to you guys, and I can't wait to hear what you think of them! Remember: they're only available premade in the pint freezer, and we'll do our best to keep them on stock, but when they're gone, they're gone. So come and get one while we have them!
As for the Scoop Case, it's long live summer with this week's flavors:

- Tropical Peach (strawberries, peaches, mango and pineapple!)
- Strawberry Crunch (made with a gluten-free vanilla cookie and freeze-dried strawberries, this one tastes just like the ice cream bar!)
- Butter Pecan
- Chocolate Caramel
- Raspberry Matcha
- Peanut Butter Butterfinger
- Creme Anglaise (classic vanilla bean)
And we're scooping our summer hours!
