Happy Friday

Happy Friday and the height of hay-making from PA! Before we started our farm, I didn't know of the connection between the weather and the grass and just how much a farm relies on the ebbs and flows of sun and rain. But now? We still take everyday as it comes, but the importance of the grass growing and cutting and drying is always on our minds. It's funny how we're all so unified by a beautiful sunny day but all in our own priority- we're excited for the hay cutting and the kids can't wait to find a swimming hole. I love how, even in this screen/technology driven world, we're all still so connected with nature in our own ways.
And speaking of nature, this Saturday is already looking like such a beautiful sunny day! And the Scoop Shoppe will have a cool, sweet treat waiting for you, of course.
This week's flavors:
- Fresh Strawberry
- Rocky Road
- Chocolate Covered Banana
- Peanut Butter Brownie
- Coffee Toffee
- Churro (featuring Brockway Fireman cinnamon-sugar donuts)
- Vanilla Bean

Links + finds from the week:
- Why we're all craving the 90's. As hard as it is, we're trying to intentionally recreate some of this 90's simplicity this summer!
- Did you catch Jesse's interview with the Shark Farmer on 5/7?
- We're all loving this frisbee yard game (including our 7 year old with a broken thumb!)
- And these (naturally dyed) juice popsicles!
- An update on Lily's calf: she's growing so well and we've decided to name her Ginny Weasley. Thanks for all your votes!
Have the best weekend!
xx,
Lisa
