Happy Friday

I'll tell you: the warmer weather and the endless spring sports schedules have made this week FLY! We're deep in flag football, softball and baseball and though we all love the excitement of the new seasons, it always seems to make our lives purely chaotic in the beginning. I guess it's like anything new we add to our lives, right? In the beginning, it feels like it's not possible to keep up, but then somehow, we find the right rhythms and we can't remember life any other way. We say a similar story about our little Em all the time- she's brought chaos in the sweetest way, and though sometimes it would be nice for her not to throw her dinner or eat the dirt out of the pot, I can't and don't want to remember life without her. Funny how we can adjust, even when it feels so tough. So a bit of wisdom from our corner of chaos- hang in there. Whatever you're going through right now will probably ease up with a little bit of time.
And the warmer temps are making life a bit lighter, too, these days! In fact, we were able to let the cows out into the lower pasture this week, making them so happy and easing our evening workload (less manure to scrape) in the best way.
The warmer weather has also brought the chairs and tables outside at the Scoop Shoppe! This is the best little view when we drive by- watching our community enjoy some farm made gelato right on Main Street. This really feels like such a big deal to us, so thank you guys for every cone, cup and milkshake. We're so proud to be a part of this town.
This week's gelato list is a good one, too:

- Strawberry Cheesecake: cream cheese gelato, a strawberry swirl and graham cracker crumble.
- GF Strawberry Cheesecake: the same cream cheese gelato and strawberry swirl, just without the graham crackers (for those of you avoiding gluten).
- Milk chocolate: Dutched process cocoa powder and our classic gelato base: a rich, creamy milk chocolate you'll love.
- Maple Walnut: a celebration of the first of the season maple syrup! Toasted walnuts, a hint of molasses and Brockway-made maple syrup.
- Peanut Butter Butterfinger: your most requested flavor: peanut butter gelato and Butterfinger candy pieces
- Creme anglaise: our classic vanilla bean.
