Happy Friday

Happy Friday, friends—

I hope you’re all soaking up a small reprieve from winter like we are around here. Fifty-degree temperatures, melted snow, and the very first glimpse of grass in weeks—it feels like a gift we didn’t know we needed quite so badly.

December felt big and heavy. Freezing temperatures, mountains of snow, and those long, dark days made it seem like winter might stretch on forever. But then nature stepped in and offered a deep sigh of relief. And even though we know winter is still very much in the thick of it, we’re grateful for the simple joy of stepping outside without slipping on sheets of ice or trudging through feet of snow.

It’s a gentle reminder that this season—hard as it can feel—won’t last forever. Spring will come. In fact, I read a quote this week that said we’ll gain 45 more minutes of daylight in just one month. And honestly, that feels like hope you can hang your hat on.

Here at the creamery, we’re still hard at work bringing you artisan gelato, our thick and delicious buttermilk, and loads of farm-fresh milk. Even the cows are feeling the change—an open barn, fresh air, and a chance to stretch their legs has done them good.

Our scoop shoppe is continuing winter hours, and we’re always excited to see your faces on Main Street in Brockway. Thank you for being part of this season with us, for showing up, and for believing—like we do—that even the longest winters give way to light.

Happy break-from-winter weekend!
