Farewell, February

We're about to get a taste of spring this weekend and I'm so ready for it.  The snow begins to melt, the sunshine lingers, and the barn doors get left wide open to welcome in that fresh country air. The cows seem to notice it first — lifting their heads, soaking it in — as if they, too, have been waiting for temperatures to finally stretch into the fifties.

It’s a long-awaited time.

This weekend, there’s no better place to welcome the season than our little Scoop Shoppe.

We’ve filled the case with flavors that feel just right for a sneak peek at the first warm days:

🍌 Banana Split Gelato — made with real puréed bananas, a ribbon of strawberry swirl, and delicate chocolate flakes folded throughout. It’s nostalgic in all the right ways.

🍁 Maple Walnut — because the sap is flowing and Pennsylvania maple season is in full swing. We use real PA maple syrup, a touch of molasses for depth, and toasted walnuts for that perfect buttery crunch.

Tiramisu — rich mascarpone gelato layered with espresso-soaked cookie pieces. A little indulgent, a little cozy — like lingering over coffee with a good friend.

🍫 Chocolate Hazelnut — smooth, creamy, and reminiscent of the chocolate-hazelnut spread we all secretly love.

🥜 Peanut Butter Marshmallow — a longtime favorite, with rich and creamy peanut butter gelato swirled with marshmallow fluff and dotted with mini marshmallows.

🤍 Classic Crème Anglaise (Vanilla Bean) — simple, timeless, and made with real vanilla bean. Sometimes the classics are classic for a reason.

There’s truly a flavor for everyone.

And what makes it even sweeter is where you’ll enjoy it. A stroll down Main Street in Brockway. A trip to the park with the kids. Or a peaceful walk along the Little Toby Riverwalk, gelato in hand, sunshine on your face, and that unmistakable feeling that winter is finally behind us.
